剛收到澳洲手足發訊息來，托我呼籲各位香港人參與一人一信，在澳洲國會外交及國防委員會就「全球馬格尼茨基人權問責法（The Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act）」進行諮詢時，積極表態支持立法！
若然法案成功推動，內容應與美國已生效的「香港人權民主法案」相當接近，可望促進澳洲政府建立制裁機制，嚴懲濫官港官及黑警。

Dear Honorable Members of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade,
I am writing as a citizen of Hong Kong to urge the Australian Government to enact legislation mirroring the Magnisky Act as soon as possible.
By enacting such legislation the Australian Government showed to the world that Australians stand with the oppressed in their struggle for dignity, freedom and democracy against authoritarian regime. In Hong Kong, it is the clash of two systems or two orders, the authoritarian order against the people’s aspiration for democratic order. In the world now, it is also the clash of two orders and it is a zero sum game. The rise of authoritarianism mean the fall of democratic order and it may happen in any democracy. The democratic world must fight against authoritarianism in every corner and one of the means is sanctioning perpetrators of human rights violation. It is very important that the Australian Government be in the forefront in this fight by enacting the Australian version of Magnisky Act. It is important to note that Magnisky Act aimed to target individuals or entities and will serve as a direct deterrent effect to the individual tyrants concerned, while also signalling to other individuals working for authoritarian regime that they are not exempt from redress. Let justice prevail.
The Hong Kong Protest Movement had been going on for half a year and the Government had not responded to the demands of the people. It had only responded by ever escalating violence on the protesters. Despite horrendous police violence, not one police was prosecuted or punished by the Hong Kong Government . The people of Hong Kong is crying out for justice.
I hope that the Australian Magnisky Act can be enacted as law and implemented as early as possible this year.
